AN INTERVENTION is the most effective technique that families can use to help loved ones suffering from chemical dependency. It is a carefully planned and structured process in which family members join in lovingly but firmly confronting the addict with his/her illness and the necessity of beginning treatment. An intervention can be initiated by a spouse, relative, friend, co-worker, etc. The intervention process is based in love and honesty. Those who are in denial about their disease are enlightened by the love, respect, and concern shown to them by family and friends.

Our Intervention Method creates a safe and respectful environment in which an addict can sit and listen to loved ones share their empathy for the situation they are in without feeling threatened or judged. Services include an assessment of the client’s situation to determine if an intervention is appropriate. If so, a preparation meeting will be conducted within 24 hours of the intervention with all group members. Immediately following the intervention, the client is escorted to a carefully selected rehabilitation center. We maintain contact with the family while the client is in treatment as a resource for them to draw upon in times of need. Aftercare includes counseling services for family members and those in early recovery.
